This program prepares candidates to be student-centered, ethical, and effective leaders in California schools and school districts.   The program meets California requirements to be eligible for the Clear Administrative Services Credential and service in administrative positions in grades Pre-K-12/Adult school systems.

³ÉÈËÖ±²¥'s Education Unit seeks to prepare educators whose calling it is to be scholars, peacemakers, professionals, and leaders who carry out the beliefs of the ³ÉÈËÖ±²¥ Idea in their diverse educational settings.

To be considered for admission for the preliminary administration services credential program, please submit the following items:

• Program Interview: Before submitting an application, candidates are required to meet with the 
  program coordinator.
  • To schedule an interview, please email Graduate.Studies@fresno.edu or call 559-453-3690.
• Completed for Admission and $45 non-refundable application fee.
• Official college/university transcript(s) verifying receipt of a bachelor’s degree
  from a regionally accredited institution and any post-baccalaureate work.
  • If you are currently finishing up your degree, please submit current transcript.
    • A final transcript will need to be submitted before you may enroll in classes.
  • Transcripts can be sent electronically by your institution to trans.evaluator@fresno.edu
    or via mail in an envelope sealed by your institution to:

• If your cumulative GPA for your bachelor’s degree is below a 3.0 (4.0 scale), a letter of explanation is required.
• and Letter – One reference is required for the administrative services credential program. This reference should be completed by a professional colleague or supervisor who can attest to your qualifications. In addition to the form, a letter of recommendation detailing your leadership skills, professional experience and readiness for this credential program should be submitted.
• Statement of Intent – Provide a 1-2 page written statement explaining your interest in the program, long-term goals and your experience in the field.
• Summary of Education – Related Experience: Provide a list of your credentials held and a 
  resume of your education-related roles.
• Approved Basic Credential.
• Verification of current negative TB test (within 12 months) (Preliminary and Intern only).
• For students seeking a clear administrative services credential, a program interview is 
  required before submitting an application.

**Please note: Students enrolled in the Clear Administrative Services Credential are ineligible
to receive Title IV Aid.

Graduates possess the skills, knowledge and experiences demanded by administrative roles in schools, backed by a commitment to ethics and service. They will be prepared for leadership within the school system. Courses meet all requirements for clearing the credential and continuing employment in an administrative position in grades K-12 in the state of California.
